Today, we took our first exam, over the MS Word section of your book. Everyone did remarkably well (especially since I carelessly included the answers on about half of the questions!). I will have to say that you guys have done the best on the assessment (with the table of contents) of any group I’ve had, so congrats!
After that, we pioneered the Snap tutorial/testing delivery system conveniently written by your textbook publisher. My reasoning for doing this is that it allows those of you who are computer pros to come in, sit down, get your stuff done and go home. For those of you who need it, it allows me to offer more one-on-one assistance than I would otherwise be able to provide. It’s a win-win.
In today’s tutorial, we covered Chapters 1 & 2. As I’m typing this, the room seems pretty quiet, which is a pretty good sign!

Boy, I’m just batting 1.000 today, aren’t I? Assessment 5 needs Assessment 1 to work, so just do assessment 1 instead of 5.
I’m going to go sit in the corner and cry now.

Ben, I think the SNAP Tutorial was pretty cool. The only bad thing was I couldn't concentrate because of the people talking around me. I kept having to reread several times before I could understand what it was wanting me to do. Other than that I liked it
Ben, Not sure about the SNAP TUTORIAL. I'm a tell and show me kind of person but maybe it just take some getting used to. The test part of it sucks because I can't read something once and remember it. I just missed you explaining things and showing us but then alot of the kids are not showing you alot of support on listening and paying attention.
Ben, the SNAP thing is pretty cool just stay with the test you give because the computer will not let you look back and use like we can on your tests!!!
